Genome re-sequencing of the deletion strain was performed and analyzed. By comparison between the genome of the deletion and WT strains, it was found that there were no base mutations, insertions, or deletions in the predicted off-target sites and their surrounding sequences. Furthermore, the sequences of deleted genes and the used plasmid were not present in the edited strains by blast analysis.
