This is a point dataset representing liquefied natural gas import/export terminals in the United States. These are defined as terminals capable of liquefaction of natural gas for transport or receipt and regasification of LNG for use as natural gas. Source: EIA based on Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy (FE), and trade press.
