Dataset for: Restorative Strategies and Restoration Failure in Posterior Endodontically Treated Teeth: A Systematic Review and Network Meta-Analysis

This dataset contains the extracted and processed data used in the systematic review and frequentist network meta-analysis evaluating restorative strategies for posterior endodontically treated teeth. The dataset includes study characteristics, intervention nodes, outcome data, risk of bias assessments, and network meta-analysis inputs derived from randomized controlled trials. The interventions evaluated comprise direct composite restorations, endocrowns, fiber post-supported crowns, cast post-supported crowns, overlays/onlays, CAD/CAM indirect restorations, ceramic crowns, and metal-ceramic crowns. The primary outcome was restoration failure. Secondary clinical outcomes were based on USPHS and FDI evaluation criteria when available. The network meta-analysis was performed using a frequentist random-effects model in R. This repository is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and secondary analyses of the findings reported in the associated manuscript.
