资源简介:
The ambrosia symbiosis is a complex relationship between the ambrosia beetles and special fungal genera, remains incompletely understood, prompting genomic sequencing to unravel its distinctive features. This study employed long-read Oxford Nanopore technology to conduct the first comparative whole-genome sequencing for four ambrosia fungal species and their closely related non-ambrosia ones from four families: Ceratocystidaceae, Ophiostomataceae, Nectriaceae and Irpicaceae. Genome sizes ranged from ~28 to 54.4 Mb, with completed BUSCOs ~96.2% - 99.1%, referring to considered contiguous genome assemblies. Also, this study contribute to advancing our comprehension of this intriguing ecological relationship.
