Minotaur Exploration is exploring EPM 26572 for copper and gold mineralisation, either iron oxide-rich (IOCG) or sulphide-rich (ISCG) systems, and for silver-lead-zinc mineralisation. Proterozoic basement within EPM 26572 is dominated by Soldiers Cap Group rocks, including Mount Norna Quartzite, host stratigraphy to the Cannington silver-lead-zinc deposit and the Eloise, Jericho and Osborne copper-gold deposits.

Work during Year 2 comprised joint venture negotiations, database interrogation and field reconnaissance planning. Regional travel restrictions and closure of interstate borders to control the spread of COVID-19 forced postponement of planned field work within EPM 26572 during Year 2. On-ground activity is expected to occur in Year 3 following the easing of Queensland border-crossing restrictions.
