Historical US Coast and Geodetic Survey (USCGS) Aerial Photos - South Florida

This web-application hosts digitized US Coast and Geodetic Survey aerial photographs of the South Florida coast from 1924 to 1954. The images were originally captured on 35mm black and white film, scanned at 2400dpi, and were part of Dr. Harold R. Wanless's collection. The FIU GIS Center digitized the photographs, which were funded by USGS. Users can download images and access additional technical information through a provided spreadsheet and report.
