The present invention， the average particle size of the polyisobutene emulsion is 100 μm or less， 100% wt. It relates to an aqueous polyisobutene emulsion， which is supplemented with: 1% wt. based on the total amount of the emulsion. To 65% wt. Polyisobutene，-up to 5% wt based on the total amount of the emulsion. One or more surfactants，-optionally， 1% wt based on the total amount of the emulsion. To 65% wt. At least one wax and/or oil. The invention also relates to the use of such emulsions. The invention relates to an aqueous polyisobutene emulsion comprising : 1 %wt. to 65 %wt.， based on the total weight of said emulsion， of polyisobutene， - at maximum 5 %wt.， based on the total weight of said emulsion， of at least one surfactant， and - optionally 1 %wt. to 65 %wt.， based on the total weight of said emulsion， of at least one wax and/or oil， complemented with water to 100 %wt.， whereby the average particle size of said polyisobutene emulsion is not greater than 100 mum. The present invention also relates to the use of such an emulsion. The invention relates to an aqueous polyisobutene emulsion comprising : 1 %wt. to 65 %wt.， based on the total weight of said emulsion， of polyisobutene， - at maximum 5 %wt.， based on the total weight of said emulsion， of at least one surfactant， and - optionally 1 %wt. to 65 %wt.， based on the total weight of said emulsion， of at least one wax and/or oil， complemented with water to 100 %wt.， whereby the average particle size of said polyisobutene emulsion is not greater than 100 μm.
