Visualization of the flow of liquid in a hydrolic diode in the opposite direction

To visualize the processes of liquid flow in a hydrolic diode, we used the stand. A prototype with transparent walls of organic glass was made for the stand. Tap water was tinted with PAP-1 aluminum powder to be used as the working fluid, thereby we could observe the vortices of the liquid flow passing through the hydrolic diode in the forward and reverse directions. To visualize the liquid flow in the hydrolic diode, a Mikrotron video camera for computer vision MC1363 (EoSens CL) was used. This camera can film high-speed processes with speed up to 500 frames per second. This results in clear, crisp images with rich detail.
