Gene expression profile at single cell level of whole melanoma tumor dissociations taken from sedentary or exercised mice

Exercise reduces tumor growth in certain models but the mechanisms driving this is unknown. Tumors from sedentary or exercised mice were removed and processed for single cell sequencing to explore transcriptional changes in the tumor microenvironment induced by exercise. 600,000 YUMMER1.7 melanoma cells were injected subcutaneously into male C57Bl/6 mice. After tumor establishment, mice were randomized into sedentary or exercise treatment. Exercising mice ran at 12meters/min, 45min/day for 14 consectutive days.
