A Quick Look at a Dark Burst comma GRB001025

We propose to revisit the site of the gammaray burstof October 25 2000. This was the subject of an XMMToO observation, and two Xray sources were found.In the relatively short ToO observation, no statisticallysignificant evidence could be found for fading, so we donot know which source is the GRB counterpart. What makesthis interesting is that this was a dark burst, i.e.one with no detectable optical counterpart.
