Gut microbiome amplicon sequence variants (ASVs) and sample data from patients with tuberculosis infection before, during, and after treatment with rifamycins

The phyloseq object contains amplicon sequence variants (ASV) and associated sample data collected from six patients infected with tuberculosis (LTBI) and six healthy controls. The LTBI patients were treated with a rifamycin-based regimen for 5 - 6 months. Each patient provided 5 stool samples for sequencing: one before initiating treatment, 3 during the duration of the treatment, and a final sample collected two months after treatment completion. The controls did not receive the rifamycins but were sampled in parallel with the LTBI patients.
