Discussion of 好 [hǎo] quite, very - Trainchinese

1 - Can also be used in front of some verbs to indicate that the action is suitable for or pleasant to do, such as Good listen 好听 = a nice sound / pleasent to listen to Good Eat 好吃 = tasty 2 - Does this really mean very? I thought it meant good so that很好 means very good.
