PFS Clinician Handoff Pilot Data: 20-Patient Global Study on Feasibility, Acceptability, and Pharmacovigilance Impact

This repository hosts the de-identified dataset, data dictionary, and the clinical intervention instrument ("Clinician Handoff Document") derived from a prospective 20-patient global pilot study investigating Post-Finasteride Syndrome (PFS). The research rigorously evaluates the feasibility, acceptability, and quantified clinical impact of a patient-led communication tool designed to bridge the knowledge-to-action gap in PFS management. Primary outcomes assess clinician engagement, formal symptom documentation, clinical management actions (diagnostic investigation/referral), and critical pharmacovigilance metrics, specifically Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) reporting. The dataset spans 13 countries, providing a diverse global perspective on clinical encounters. The raw data is provided in a machine-readable CSV format and has undergone stringent anonymization. All Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI), and temporally identifying metadata (e.g., timestamps) have been permanently redacted to ensure absolute patient confidentiality and uphold strict ethical research standards.
