资源简介:

This dataset accompanies the article “Re-envisioning medical education: Integrating Carl Rogers’ person-centred approach for holistic healthcare in Taiwan” with a revised title "Integrating Carl Rogers’ person-centred approach into holistic healthcare training in Taiwan: A mixed-methods evaluation of clinical practitioners’ competencies" (Liao F., 2025, submitted to MedEdPublish; revised in April 2026) It contains all materials required to reproduce the quantitative findings and figures. Contents HCCI_Raw_All_in_One.xlsx – Fully de-identified participant-level scores for five time-points (T1–T5). Columns: Participant_ID, Profession, Time, Q1–Q12, Physical Sum, Psychological Sum, Spiritual Sum, Social Sum, Total Sum. HCCI_Descriptive.csv – Means and standard deviations for each domain at every time-point. HCCI_Paired_d.csv – Paired-sample Cohen's d (T1 vs T5) for the four domains. HCCI_analysis.py – Annotated Python 3.11 script that recreates descriptive statistics and the five figures reported in the original manuscript. HCCI_ANOVA_Report.xlsx – [NEW – added in revision] Contains six worksheets: - Table 2 - Summary: descriptive statistics, repeated measures ANOVA results (F, p with Greenhouse-Geisser correction, generalised eta squared), and Cohen's dav (Lakens, 2013) for each domain. - Post Hoc Comparisons: Bonferroni-corrected pairwise comparisons for all timepoint pairs across four domains, with dav. - Sphericity Tests: Mauchly's W, epsilon, and corrected p-values. - Mixed ANOVA - Profession: Time (within) x Profession Group (between) results for Physicians (n=36), Nurses (n=35), and Allied Health (n=84). - Group Means by Profession: domain means at each timepoint by group. - New References: additional references added during revision (APA 7th). README.md – variable dictionary and usage instructions. Reflective Writing_Building Your Own Take-Home Messages.pdf – structured worksheet that guides participants in formulating key learning points and future action plans. Self-Report Evaluation_Holistic Care Competence Inventory_English Version.pdf – extended self-evaluation form used after training to rate holistic-care competence. Time-point definitions T1 = Pre-training baseline (immediately before Session 1) T2 = Immediately post-Session 1 (end of the 4-hour workshop) T3 = 2 weeks post-training (at Session 2) T4 = 1 month post-training (at Session 3) T5 = 3 months post-training (follow-up) How to reproduce Descriptive statistics and figures (original analysis): Place HCCI_Raw_All_in_One.xlsx in the same folder as HCCI_analysis.py, then run: python HCCI_analysis.py Outputs (HCCI_Descriptive.csv, HCCI_Paired_d.csv, and five figure files) will be written to the sub-folder HCCI_outputs/. Requirements: Python 3.11, pandas 2.2, NumPy 1.26, SciPy 1.11, matplotlib 3.8. ANOVA and effect size analyses (revised analysis): HCCI_ANOVA_Report.xlsx contains pre-computed results across sixworksheets. To reproduce these analyses independently, the following Python environment is required: Python 3.11+, pandas, numpy, scipy, pingouin, openpyxl The analysis script used to generate this file is available from the corresponding author upon request (faithliao@tmu.edu.tw).
