DNA metabarcoding of fecal contents of Apodemus speciosus in the Innoshima island

Sequences detected by DNA metabarcoding the fecal contents of the large Japanese wood mice (Apodemus speciosus) are deposited. The barcoding markers are the mitochondrial COI (one marker) and 16S rRNA (two markers) and the chloroplast trnL (one marker). Focusing of these markers, invertebrates and plant dietary components are inferred from the sequences detected in this project.
