Assessing the interaction effects of plant genotype and flooding frequency on soil prokaryotic communities

Sea-level rise is expected to affect soil microbial activity andcommunity composition. Particularly, indirect (i.e. plant-mediated)sea-level rise effects have been demonstrated to exert importantcontrol on microbial functioning. Here we assessed the interactive effectsof plant genotype (flooding adapted versus unadapted) andflooding frequency on prokaryotic communities of salt-marsh soils.
