Diatom (i), XRF (ii), particle size (iii) and lithology (iv) data of sediment cores from Budle Bay, Northumberland, UK. Cores span ~8000 cal yr BP to present.<br>(i) Diatom percentage data from 3 cores BU18/2, BU18/7 and BU20/1 (ii) XRF data from 3 cores BU18/2, BU18/7 and BU20/1 (iii) Particle size data from core BU18/2(iv) Sediment descriptions of 8 cores from Budle Bay, including core locations, distances from shoreline and depths/thicknesses of sand units.<br><br>Data and full analysis presented in a paper by Pickering et al., submitted to the journal Sedimentologika.
