基于不同大小和不同种类群体微囊藻中mcy基因的研究结果，本研究采用不同孔径的筛网将微囊藻水华样品逐级进行分离，以利于对微囊藻群体种类的鉴定及不同微囊藻群体生物量的估算。对不同颗粒大小微囊藻水华中产生微囊藻毒素的量进行测定，发现太湖水华中颗粒态微囊藻毒素含量的变化主要由微囊藻群体组成的改变引起，揭示了太湖细胞结合态毒素的变动规律。
