A convert to Judaism, Frazier was a congregant and board member at Central Reform Congregation, a politically progressive synagogue in St. Louis's Central West End. He also served on the board of the Missouri GSA Network, an organization that supports and coordinates the activities of LGBTQ and ally student groups in high schools and middle schools across the state. He left Missouri to attend rabbinical school in Pennsylvania. </p>
