Purpose: We assessed the transcriptome of the dermatophyte T. rubrum through RNA-seq analysis to identify transcriptome-wide changes in the gene expression after exposure to the 5-amino-4-(naphtalen-1-yl)-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thione. Results and Conclusions: We identified changes in specific functional GO categories of RNAs, indicating that a significant number of genes respond to the stress induced by the 5-amino-4-(naphtalen-1-yl)-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-thione compound, including those that determine fungal virulence
