Melatonin and AFMK concentrations, and the activities of antioxidant enzymes: catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD), and glutathione S-transferase (GST) in blood plasma, ovarian fluid, and eggs of farmed rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss Walbaum, 1792)

The presented dataset includes melatonin (Mel) and AFMK (N-acetyl-N-formyl-5-methoxykynuramine) concentrations in blood plasma, ovarian fluid and eggs of twelve farmed rainbow trout females. Moreover, the data refer to the activities of antioxidant enzymes: catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione S-transferase (GST) measured by colorimetric methods in eggs collected during the same experiment. Data originate from both unrinsed eggs and eggs rinsed with the OvaFish solution (IMV Technology Global, France). Samples were collected from Rutki strain females kept at the Department of Salmonid Research, Inland Fisheries Institute (IFI), Rutki, Żukowo, Poland (https://maps.app.goo.gl/2V4Swam4orW72RCz6).
