Primarily targeted at weather forecasts within a 3-day timeframe. It has a horizontal resolution of 9 km, with its forecast scope covering China, its adjacent land areas and parts of the western North Pacific. The forecasting system runs two forecast initializations daily at 08:00 and 20:00 Beijing Time, with a forecast lead time of 72 hours, and provides model forecast products for the entire country and the eastern region of China.
