The Postage and Telegram Record from the Hume Pastures Protection Board and its precursor agency, the Hume Sheep District (in the Holbrook area,) is a series of registers which were the means by which the agency would monitor the postage and telegram communications leaving the office and with a view to, presumably, keeping track of the costs involved. Each pages contains ruled columns with headings that read: to stamps, date and amount; date; name; address (when required); postage; telegrams; duty (stamps); total; remarks (as to place and time of posting, by whom posted, or such particulars as may be required in certain cases for record).
