Characterization of tsRNAs in adipose tissue of obese and lean pigs. Sus scrofa

tRNA-derived small RNAs (tsRNAs) are novel non-coding RNAs that have been found to play important roles in many biological processes. In this study, tsRNA was identified by small RNA sequencing in two different adipose tissues, subcutaneous and visceral, of obese and lean pigs. We identified tsRNAs associated with porcine fat deposition and inflammatory expression through target gene prediction, qRT-PCR, and bioinformatics analysis. The results of this study provide a reference for further studying the function of porcine tsRNAs and enriching the porcine fat deposition regulatory network.
