Dataset of EMBCP survey results: 17-18 years old students (2020)

In order to provide a picture of marine science communication in Europe being presented at the European Marine Board Future Science Brief N°8 ‘Marine Science Communication in Europe: a way forward’, the European Marine Board Communications Panel (EMCP) carried out three surveys targeting different stakeholder groups from across Europe. The results of these surveys underpin this document. Two main, in-depth surveys were carried out, one targeting experts (Ocean scientists, marine policy-makers, industry representatives, media professionals and Ocean communication or education experts) and the other targeting secondary-school students (17-18 years old). This dataset presents the results of the survey targeting students.
