Reducing uncertainty in sea-salt aerosol emissions by constraining their wind-speed dependence

This dataset contains the observational data and model simulation results related to sodium ion (Na⁺) concentration and emission flux estimation. The file "simu-obse concentration.xlsx" contains airborne measurement data of sodium ion concentrations, including sampling time, geographic location, observed Na⁺ mass concentrations, and corresponding observed wind speeds. The file also includes simulated wind speeds and Na⁺ concentrations before and after model improvement for comparison and evaluation. The file "flux.xlsx" contains the datasets used for estimating sodium ion emission fluxes. It includes dry deposition fluxes, emission fluxes calculated using the default parameterization scheme, and the total Na⁺ emission fluxes estimated under different atmospheric residence time scenarios (24 h, 12 h, and 48 h).
