We studied the effect of high salt diet on the gut microbiota of opticospinal encephalomyelitis mice (double-transgenic C57BL/6 mice). Small intestinal (n=8), large intestinal (n=8) and cecal (n=16) microbiota were profiled using 16S rRNA gene sequencing targetting V3-V4 hyper-variable regions.
