China was by far the leading exporting country of natural graphite (in the traded form of powder or flakes) worldwide in 2022, accounting for an almost half of the total exports of this mineral. Mozambique, Madagascar, Germany, and Brazil constituted the rest of the five leading global exporting countries of natural graphite at that time, though their export shares are considerably less than the size of China's export volume.
