资源简介:
Ochlerotatus triseriatus is a common tree hole mosquito found east of the Rocky Mountains in the United States. This mosquito species is an important vector of La Crosse virus, the agent of a zoonosis causing human encephalitis in the United States. The whole-genome sequencing and assembly of this species aim to facilitate our understanding of fundamental biological processes at their basic molecular levels and may hold potential for application to mosquito control and prevention of mosquito-borne disease transmission.
