Photogrammetry derived orthomosaic of a natural successional gradient of Juniperus thurifera, Alto Tajo, Spain

This data is a .TIF file of a georeferenced orthomosaic of two natural successional gradients of Juniperus thurifera woodland in Alto Tajo, Spain. The collection of remote sensing data was performed by the NERC Airborne Research Facility (project code ES17/126). Supporting georeferencing data were collected by Sacha Khoury and Laura Bentley. The NERC Airborne Research Facility Data Analysis Node carried out the processing of airborne digital imagery to produce the orthorectified mosaic and point cloud, which is published as a saerate data entry at 10.5281/zenodo.19254450.The photogrammetric processing to produce the data in this delivery has been undertaken by NERC-ARF in Agisoft Photoscan 1.4.0 software. During the processing of the photographic data, some images may have been removed due to over/under exposure, insufficient overlap or if they do not correspond to the area of interest (for example photographs used to test the exposure settings prior to surveying). A document describing the production of this data and the locations of ground truthing points have been provided. The raw point cloud underpinning the production of this dataset is pblished as 10.5281/zenodo.19254450.
