资源简介:
Grounded in Conservation of Resources (COR) theory, this study examines the impact of workplace ostracism on innovative work behaviour and the moderating role of emotional regulation. Using cross-sectional data from 502 marketing professionals in major Indian cities, analysed through PLS-SEM, the findings reveal that workplace ostracism significantly reduces innovative behaviour. Emotional regulation positively influences innovation and mitigates the negative effects of ostracism. Employees with higher emotional regulation are less adversely affected by exclusion. The study highlights emotional regulation as a vital psychological resource and underscores the need for inclusive workplaces and employee development initiatives to sustain innovation under challenging social conditions.
