This study employed RNA sequencing to characterize transcriptional responses of human trophoblast cells exposed to hypoxia/reoxygenation stress, a model of placental oxidative injury. Transcriptome profiling was performed under hypoxia/reoxygenation alone and following pharmacological modulation of hydrogen sulfide signaling. The dataset is intended to provide a resource for understanding gene networks associated with redox stress, trophoblast function, and signaling pathways relevant to placental biology.
