Women in tech: Common barriers to promotion 2021, by race

One of the biggest barriers for all women in the tech industry who aspire to be promoted is the overall unclear path forward, according to 60 and 69 percent of women of color and white women in tech, respectively. It is noteworthy to mention that women of color in tech feel more overall barriers to promotion than white women, especially when it comes to gender bias, racial bias, and lack of trust in ability.
