GENCODEHub

Bioconductor annotationHub resources derived from GENCODE release 50 (Ensembl release 116) for the human GRCh38.p14 reference chromosomes. The resources were generated from the official gencode.v50.annotation.gtf.gz file. The deposit contains the complete annotation as a GRanges object, separate GRanges objects for gene, transcript, exon, CDS, UTR, start-codon, stop-codon and Selenocysteine features, and a TxDb SQLite database for gene–transcript–exon–CDS structural queries. Genomic coordinates, strands, feature types, imported GTF attributes and versioned GENCODE identifiers are retained as supplied by GENCODE. Coordinates were not lifted, extended or renamed. The resources use one-based, closed genomic intervals.
