The conjugative transfer ranges of three different plasmids were investigated in soil bacterial communities. We collected soil samples in Wako Saitama, Japan (35?46'N, 139?36'E) from April 2011 to May 2012. To compare the bacterial communities with the obtained transconjugants groups, partial sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene amplified with the extracted soil DNA. The pool of tagged-16S rRNA gene (515F-805R) sequences were examined by pyrosequencing using Roche 454 GS FLX+.
