Campylobacter detection in food-producing animals and rivers water in France and genetic comparison. Campyshell

Campylobacter spp. was isolated from samples retrieved from food-producing animals and river water in France. These isolates were genotyped and a sub-selection of them was sequenced to assess their genetic diversity and compare their genetic profiles. The aim of the study was to evaluate whether river water may be contaminated by Campylobacter spp. and whether food-producing animal may be responsible for this contamination.
