Genome-wide association study reveals diverse genetic background of milk performance between fat-tailed and thin-tailed Mediterranean dairy sheep

Genotype datasets (.ped and .map files) including phenotypes of lactation milk yield (LMY), milk fat content (FC), milk protein content (PC) and milk lactose content (LC) from 317 Chios and 346 Frizarta dairy ewes. Genotypic data of Chios sheep (relevant files: chios_LMY.map, chios_LMY.ped, chios_FC.map, chios_FC.ped, chios_PC.map, chios_PC.ped, chios_LC.map, chios_LC.ped) were funded by iSAGE project (EU H2020 Grant Agreement No 679302), whereas genotypic data of Frizarta sheep (relevant files: friz_LMY.map, friz_LMY.ped, friz_FC.map, friz_FC.ped, friz_PC.map, friz_PC.ped, friz_LC.map, friz_LC.ped) by SMARTER project (EU H2020 Grant Agreement No 772787).
