Single-Cell RNA Sequencing of Neonatal cortical astrocytes reveals astrocytes Diversity

Astrocytes located in the central nervous system are the closest cell lineage to the neuron lineage that sense astrocytes are widely used as the starting cells for neuron conversion.While single-cell RNA sequencing have been appied in neuron differentiation, similar in-depth studies have not yet been performed in astrocyte -neuron conversion.We applied single-cell sequencing data from cells representing the different stages (Day 0 and Day 8) of astrocyte-neuron conversion to analyze the gene expression patterns along the conversion.
