Stenotrophomonas maltophilia Genome sequencing and assembly

Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is Gram-negative rod motile bacterium, which has emerged as an important multi-drug-resistant pathogen associated with clinical patients. To investigate the genomic characteristics of this bacterium, a stain of S. maltophilia which termed as CYZ was isolated from an immunocomprised patient with pneumonia. We hope to compare and analyze the genomic distinctions between CYZ and other isolated S. maltophilia stains, and contribute to enrich the gene bank of the genome of S. maltophilia.
