Dataset for: Trace analysis of surfactants in Corexit oil dispersant formulations and seawater: Seawater sample analysis

This data set includes concentrations of chemical dispersant components measured in seawater collected following the Deepwater Horizon blowout. Components measured include the surfactants DOSS, Tween 80, Tween 85, and Span 80. Samples were collected between May 25 and June 6, 2010. The results describing the analytical method to detect surfactants presented in the associated paper (Place, B. J., Perkins, M. J., Sinclair, E., Barsamian, A. L., Blakemore, P. R., and Field, J. A.
