Confocal microscopy images of rhinarium skin sections in cattle (indexed BT), dog (indexed CL), brown bear (indexed UA), and ring-tailed lemur (indexed LC). The sections were all labeled with neurofilament 200 kDa antibodies. If more than one epidermal dome was analysed, individual domes are indexed by A and B. Negative controls (omitted primary antibodies) are available for each animal tissue. The nerve count (see excell sheet within collection) were performed in Image J (Fiji).DATA PUBLISHED, DOI: 10.1002/jmor.21313
