Somatic mutations of aldosterone-producing adenomas

Whole exome sequencing was conducted on genomic DNA extracted from 27 APAs along with paired adjacent normal adrenal and 3 APAs with known genotype (as sensitivity controls). 1ug of genomic DNA was fragmented using sonication, optimized to give a distribution of 200-500 base pairs. 101bp reads were generated for analysis with a 100x coverage per sample.
