Arcobacter butzleri from water poultry

Arcobacter is a close relative of Campylobacter, the most common agent in Germany of acute enteritis who has developed antibiotic resistances over the years. As a potential culture successor, it is important to be able to assess and evaluate the antibiotic resistance of Arcobacter. The purpose of this study was to analyze the antibiotic susceptibility, the genome sequence, the antibiotic resistance genes and the virulence genes of two isolates.
