This repository contains fully reproducible microCT, WDXRF and confocal Raman spectroscopy datasets documenting the three-dimensional mineralogical and taphogeochemical architecture, directional iron mineralisation and diagenetic evolution of an early Pliocene silicified fossil wood from the Las Cañas Formation, Argentina. The repository includes raw analytical files, processed datasets and associated metadata designed to support future investigations on fossil wood mineralisation, taphogeochemistry and palaeoenvironmental reconstruction. Data are released in accordance with the principles of open science and are intended to ensure transparency, reproducibility and long-term accessibility of the analytical results.
