Methane Emissions from Canals Draining Peatlands in Southeast Asia: Field Measurements and Data Synthesis
收藏资源简介:
Data and metadata for a year-round study of methane emissions and dissolved methane concentration from canals draining peatlands in West Kalimantan, Indonesia and a data compilation of past studies on this topic from Southeast Asia. Files include: Metadata_CanalCH4Emissions_L&O_2025.docx = full metadata for all files, including methods descriptions and units Data1_CanalDissolvedCH4.csv = time series of measurements of dissolved methane and diffusive methane emissions from canals from July 2023-October 2024 Data2_Ebullition.csv = ebullitive (bubble) methane emissions from canals from July 2023 to March 2024 Data3_FloatingChamber_k.csv = methane emissions measurements made using a floating chamber to estimate the gas transfer velocity (k) Data4_FloatingChamber_Veg.csv = methane emissions measurements made using a floating chamber to assess differences in fluxes with presence of aquatic vegetation Data5_CanalFluxComp.csv = compilation of past studies on methane emissions from canals draining peatlands in Southeast Asia Data6_CanalCH4Conc_Comp.csv = compilation of past studies on dissolved methane concentration in canals draining peatlands in Southeast Asia WeatherData.csv = compiled daily weather data from the Supadio International Airport Meteorological Station from monthly downloadable datasets from the Indonesia Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG), https://www.bmkg.go.id/ Please contact Clarice Perryman (crperry@stanford.edu) for any questions about the datasets or their usage.
