Study of shenqi compound on microbial diversity in diabetic rats

Mounting evidence underscores gastrointestinal bacterial disorders and hepatic metabolic abnormalities are associated with diabetes. Shenqi Compound (SQ), a traditional Chinese herbal formula, demonstrated remarkable hypoglycemic effects in alleviating diabetes. The aim of this study is to unravel the hypoglycemic effects of SQ through exploration of gut microbiota.
