This study is prepared to share the managing a sustainable institutional repository experience of Doğuş University Institutional Repository, to help with initiatives in this subject and to emphasize the importance of the institutional repositories. Descriptive method was used for this study. Within this scope, institutional repositories both in Turkey and in the world, harvesting systems, and Doğuş University Institutional Repository experience have been discussed.
