Australian Poaceae

Data files for the project "The contemporary distribution of grasses in Australia: a process of immigration, dispersal and shifting dominance".

The analysis in this study used Poaceae records downloaded from Atlas of Living Australia combined with several climatic and landscape variables (see below for link) that were manipulated and transformed in several steps to estimate species richness and relationships to environmental gradients in 100 x 100 km gridded cells across Australia.

All steps to recreate this analysis from the original data set can be found in the R scripts folder for use in R programming language. Please load the R project file in the same folder stucture and unzip the data folder.
