Tele-examinations post-COVID-19 according to physicians in Italy 2020

During the COVID-19 emergency in Italy many patients in need of care and consulting could not access health services the way they used to in the past. For this reason, the interest for telemedicine use to treat patients increased among physicians. According to a survey conducted in June 2020 in Italy, the specialist physicians interviewed estimated that 24 percent of examinations that involve chronic patients could be carried out through digital tools, without the need to be in presence. The share for other non-chronic patients was slightly lower (18 percent).

在意大利新冠疫情紧急时期，众多亟需照料与咨询的病患无法像往昔那般便捷地获取医疗服务。鉴于此，医者们对远程医疗应用于患者治疗的兴趣显著提升。根据2020年6月在意大利进行的一项调查，受访的专科医师们预计，涉及慢性病患的24%的检查可以通过数字工具完成，无需亲自到场。而对于其他非慢性病患，这一比例略有下降，为18%。
