Genome analysis for marine plants and its application study (KAP220216)

Detoxification of marine plant genomes and search for useful genes based on marine plant genomes. Sample acquisition and DNA and RNA extraction: domestic and foreign outdoor collection and establishment of culture lines, DNA preparation for species verification and genome sequencing, RNA extraction for transcriptome data analysis. Genome and transcriptome sequencing: Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) and Whole Transcriptome Sequencing (WTS). Genome completion and gene modeling: genome assembly and whole genome creation, genetic model analysis and completeness confirmation. Genome result analysis: comparative genome analysis and species-specific gene search, useful gene and related pathway search. Coupling of genomic data and bioactive substances of marine plants, search and application of useful genes for crops using genomic data of marine plants. Genome advancement work and thesis work on marine plant genomes completed in the first stage.
